Dr. Pasha obtained B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. in Geography from Jahangirnagar University. From Tohoku University, Japan, he received his second Master's and Doctor of Sciences (D.Sc.) in Earth Science. His research group focuses on Coastal Geo-environmental Changes and Deforestation Dynamics (Forest Conservation). Dr. Pasha is interested in applying state-of-the-art unmanned forest conservation methods and developing novel management methodologies to study deforestation dynamics in remote areas. Ongoing research grant projects include study and design of “Unmanned Aerial System Based Assessment of Tree Cover and Deforestation Dynamics in Bangladesh” (Funded by USAID: USAID PEER Project).

Mr. Md. Azharul Haque Chowdhury is an academician and researcher in the field of Environmental Science and Pollution Control. He holds a Bachelor in Environmental Science and Resource Management and a M.Sc in Environmental Science from Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University, Bangladesh. His research interest is transforming wastewater into reusable water, industrial waste, and effluent treatment plant etc. Currently, he is conducting research on phytoremediation techniques and waste to energy conversion.

Dr. Mahfuza Parveen received her BSc (2003) and MS (2004) in Geological Sciences from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. She had also received M.Eng. (2014) and PhD (2017) in Environmental Science and Engineering from Saitama university, Japan. With a focus on ecology, water pollution and plant biology, her research aims to study aquatic and terrestrial ecological upgradation, wetland management, phytoremediation, surface and groundwater quality measurement and climate change effect on environment.
